Kyle

Kyle is the operating partner at Devante Acquisitions and will lead the day-to-day of the acquired business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and has spent 8+ years across investor relations, finance, and operations advisory.

He works hands-on with small and medium businesses on operational strategy, financial management, growth, logistics, accounting, marketing, and digital.

He provides capital, strategic counsel, and an established operator's perspective.

Vancouver, Squamish, and Whistler. Open to broader BC for the right business.
Size
Minimum $250K in annual earnings (EBITDA).
Industries
Service businesses, light manufacturing, distribution, building services, B2B services, and skilled trades. Not a fit for professional service firms (law, accounting).
What we love
Owner-operator businesses with 5+ years of history, loyal customers, a strong dedicated team, and clear room to grow.
Transition
We’d want the owner staying involved for 6–12 months to pass on relationships and knowledge.

    First conversation

    Informal, confidential, 30 minutes. Just to see if there’s mutual interest.

  2. 02

    NDA and information sharing

    We sign an NDA, and we both share what we need to take the conversation seriously.

  3. 03

    Business review

    We analyze the business in detail and develop proposed terms that are fair for both sides.

  4. 04

    Letter of intent

    We formalize the proposed terms in writing. Non-binding, but specific enough to move forward together.

  5. 05

    Due diligence

    30–60 days of working through the financial, legal, and operational details with our advisors.

  6. 06

    Close and transition

    We close, you stay involved for 6–12 months while we learn the business.
